Course Overview

The 72-Hour Broker Pre-License Course is the state-required training to upgrade to a Florida Real Estate Broker license. This in-depth, instructor-led classroom program covers:

Brokerage and office management, escrow accounts and closing statements
Real estate valuation, investment analysis and financing
Florida real estate law and regulations for brokers
Sample questions and full-length practice exams for both your course final and the state broker exam, at no extra cost

Who Can Enroll

To apply for a Florida broker license, you must have held an active real estate license (sales associate or broker), in Florida or another state, for at least 24 months during the preceding 5 years.

Course Completion Requirements

To be eligible for the final exam, you may not miss more than 8 hours of classroom instruction. You must pass the end-of-course exam with a score of 70% or higher.

If you don’t pass, Florida rules require you to wait at least 30 days to retest, and you may retest one time within one year of your first attempt. After that, state rules require you to repeat the course.
