Registration Procedure

Before scheduling your Florida Real Estate licensing exam, you must:

Submit your license application to the FL DBPR
Complete electronic fingerprinting for your background check

After both steps are processed (10–30 days), Pearson VUE will email you an Authorization to Test with exam‑scheduling instructions. To register by phone, call 1‑888‑204‑6289.

When to Take Your Exam

For best results, we recommend:

Finish your Pre‑Licensing Course (63 hrs SA / 72 hrs Broker)
Attend our optional State Exam Prep Workshop within 5–10 days
Test 3–5 days after the Prep Workshop (or after course completion if you skip prep)

Exam Format & Passing Score

Sales Associate & Broker Exams: 100 multiple‑choice questions
- 45 on principles & practices
- 45 on Florida & federal law
- 10 math calculations
Laws & Rules Exam: 40 multiple‑choice questions
- 10 on brokerage relationships
- 30 on license law & administration (including possible documentary‑stamp math)

Passing Score: 75%

What to Bring

Two forms of signed ID (one government‑issued photo ID)
Your Mato School Course Completion Certificate
Pearson VUE exam confirmation number

You’ll receive your official score report immediately upon finishing the exam.

If You Don’t Pass

Review & Retake
- Pay $35 to review your exam at the test center (1 hour review; must wait 21 days to retest).
- Or, schedule a retake after 24 hours (fee $57.75).
Attend Our Live Exam Prep Workshop
- A one‑day, instructor‑led session focused on the topics most commonly missed.
